Courage. That is the word I wish to send to all the women connected here at DWC. Let us begin this new year drenched in courage.
The word courage derives from the Latin cor, meaning heart. At its root, courage was not the absence of fear, but rather acting from the heart.
This beautiful space, where we get to share our deepest thoughts and feelings, created by my longtime and beloved friend Brenda, was born from nothing more than a single breath of courage she took.
And if there is one thing she has in abundance, it is her heart. And where there is heart, there is courage.
She often asks me where I find so much courage to do what I do. And despite being an Aries and carrying fire in my soul, most of the time, my courage exists on behalf of other women. Because I know that the courage of one becomes a doorway for many, and it is truly beautiful to witness the portal that Brenda has opened for all of us.
I wish for us to walk through this door and through many others that will open along our paths in the next few months.
Just remember: use your heart.
