Female friendships were something I'd always been a little afraid of. Sometimes, women can be unkind or competitive, bringing each other down instead of building each other up. Despite that fear, I felt a strong urge to challenge my own assumptions and open myself up to new female friendships. On top of that, I was heavily pregnant and worried that motherhood would make me "too uncool" to hang out anymore.
Then I met Brenda. She told me about her passion project (aka DWC) and showed me that female friendship could look completely different. Through the eyes of each woman in the group, I began to see new perspectives and connect with strong, fearless women who embrace the world with confidence.
For the first time, I found a space where I could truly share, no matter how silly or serious the topic.
I'm so proud to be part of this group. The diversity among us is what makes it so special: different jobs, nationalities, and personalities all coming together. I know I can always count on a fresh perspective and genuine support from every single woman here.
